This activity is designed to increase knowledge around the relationship of delirium and immobility of hospitalized adults. Learners will acquire practical knowledge on how to have greater mobility interventions for older patients in the hospital.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- Recognize the negative short and long term consequences for the patient, family, health care organizations and society associated with delirium.
- Recognize the role that mobilization plays in the prevention and mitigation of delirium.
- Apply mobilization strategies into routine care for patients at risk for or experiencing delirium.
LIVE (in-person attendance) will be held in the Houston Methodist Research Institute John F. Bookout Auditorium (6670 Bertner).
LIVESTREAM information will be provided to registered learners.
