This hands-on training program will provide experience with advanced therapeutics endoscopic techniques and technology in the areas of mucosal ablation and resection, tissue closure, intraluminal stenting, gastroesophageal reflux treatments, and ERCP.

This course provides Gastroenterology fellows, surgery residents and early career Gastroenterologists who have interest in the different areas of endoscopic techniques with the opportunity to be hands on and be exposed to multiple areas of innovation and technologies. During this course, these trainees will have an opportunity to learn with hands-on training in the lab, and to consolidate their knowledge their endoscopy practice.

This is a privately held training event and is by invitation only.

Target Audience

The target audience is gastroenterology fellows and surgery residents who have shown interest in the surgical specialties and the innovation and technologies surrounding it.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Demonstrate proper technique for endoscopic mucosal resection using multiple methods.
  • Demonstration of real time intestinal ultrasound in standardized patient
  • Demonstrate the use of rescue strategies for GI bleeding or perforation following advanced tissue removal in the GI tract.
  • Discuss technical difference between endoscopic submucosal resection (EMR) and Full thickness resection
  • Demonstrate full thickness resection of small gastric mass.
  • Discuss the advantages of per oral choledochoscopy over cholangiography in managing select biliary pathology.
  • Understanding the current status of the utilization of single use endoscopes
  • Demonstrate transoral incisionless fundoplication treatment of GERD.
  • Understand the indications and utilization of EndoflipTM device in the management of motility disorders

ACTIVITY-BASED SPONSORSHIP SUPPORT

Sponsorship Support Guidelines:

  • Exhibitors can purchase one Exhibitor Support and one Sponsorship Support 
  • It is not permitted to purchase Activity-Based Sponsorship Support and Activity Break Sponsorship Support 
  • Sponsors must select one options only and are permitted to purchase one sponsorship per activity

ACTIVITY-BREAK SPONSORSHIP SUPPORT

Activity-break sponsorship support includes support of snack/program intermissions and meals during the event. Please be aware that there are only three support packages available per sponsorship type (i.e. breakfast, snack, lunch, dinner).
