This one day symposium incorporates diverse lectures and speakers across a wide variety of important sepsis topics to enhance learner competency and performance, with the goal of improving patient care.
ACCEPTING ABSTRACTS!
The Houston Methodist Hospital invites abstracts for poster presentation at the Annual Sepsis Symposium: Novel Landscape of Sepsis.
Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters on Friday, September 16, 2022 during the Annual Sepsis Symposium: Novel Landscape of Sepsis.
All the abstracts and case reports will be judged by anonymous judges who are experts in the field of Sepsis Care medicine. One winning submission will be chosen for Houston Methodist Sepsis Scientific Award. The judging criteria for abstract will be based on scientific merit, significance and impact of the study, approach to methodology, quality of data and analysis of results. Similarly, for case reports the criteria that will be used are description of context, relevance and importance of the case, inclusion of pertinent details, uniqueness and description of why this case report fits gap in literature. Award will be given only if the submissions meet these standards.
