The aim of this activity is to provide a detailed view on the world of heart failure in the ACHD population, on the specific skills required to do HTX in these patients and on the specific need to centralize these patients to an established ACHD program.
Target Audience
The target audience for this activity is physicians, nurses, residents, fellows, & researchers
Learning Objectives
- Describe why ACHD are more prone to heart failure
- Recognize these patients require specific assistance.
- Discuss the need to centralize patients in a HUB with an established ACHD program.
