This activity will provide attendees with an overview of human trafficking in the health care setting, as well as health impacts, identification and assessment, and appropriate response and follow up to human trafficking in the health care setting.

This activity is designed for physicians, NPs, PA's and allied health professionals.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Describe the different types of human trafficking and their prevalence at the local, statewide and national level.
- Identify potential signs of human trafficking in victims who seek medical care.
- Discuss and recognize the immediate health care needs of these patients utilizing a multi-disciplinary care model.
- Respond to these victims through the patient centered care model through trauma informed care.
- Utilize available advocacy and victim service resources for immediate safety and rescue.
