Target Audience

The George P. Noon Conference Series is designed for nephrologists, cardiologists, gastroenterologists, hepatologists, pulmonologists, pathologists, internists, oncologists, physicians treating patients with organ failure, nurses, family practitioners, social workers and allied health professionals with an interest in organ failure transplant management.

  • Describe the emerging field of machine learning and artificial intelligence and its role in the management of kidney disease.  
  • Examine the current practice guidelines for preemptive and living donor transplantation .  
  • Describe new innovations in dialysis patient education and efforts to optimize and maximize the application of living donation in the care of dialysis and CKD patients.  
  • Identify barriers at the patient, family and the provider levels that limit the pursuit of transplant and living donation.
