This year our Critical Care Symposium will run for 2 days starting on the morning of April 19th and last until the evening of April 20th and will incorporate diverse lectures and speakers across a wide variety of important current critical care topics. Speakers will present on their respective topics followed by a Q&A session.
Target Audience
Physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, allied health care professionals and others involved, or with an interest in the management of critical care patients.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Integrate clinical expertise and multidisciplinary collaboration in the management of critical care patients.
- Integrate advanced knowledge and practical skills across a broad spectrum of critical care topics.
- Describe neuropsychological rehabilitation post-ICU, effective communication strategies in ICU, cutting-edge shock management, respiratory therapy insights, and ultrasound applications in cardiac arrest.
- Cultivate critical thinking and decision-making skills related to the promotion of improved patient outcomes in critical care settings.
