Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Prevention Symposium - EXHIBIT & SPONSOR REGISTRATION
EXHIBITOR/SPONSOR REGISTRATION
You are NOT confirmed to exhibit until you register.
Dear Corporate Partner,
It is our pleasure to invite you to exhibit at our third annual Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Symposium hosted at the Houston Methodist Research Institute on Saturday, May 4, 2024. On behalf of our Course Directors Kershaw Patel, MD and Eleonora Avenatti, MD, the Office of Continuing Medical Education (CME), and the Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center (HMDHVC) we graciously extend the opportunity for you to join us as an exhibitor and/or sponsor!
The most important way to avoid cardiovascular disease (heart attacks, heart failure, arrhythmias) is prevention. Most cardiovascular diseases can be prevented when other risk factors such as, obesity, smoking, and physical inactivity are addressed. Early detection and management are key for treating patients with cardiovascular risk factors, such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, or pre-existing cardiovascular disease. The number of patients with obesity and diabetes continues to rise. Therefore, more emphasis needs to be on prevention. This educational event will provide updates on the most current recommendations for cardiovascular disease prevention, ranging from lifestyle interventions, to testing, and clinical decision-making for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, residents, and fellows. There will be discussions on diet, exercise, and obesity-related guidelines (primary prevention), as well as which patients with high cardiovascular risk require a CAC scan, and/or who to put on a statin (secondary prevention).
We estimate that this annual conference will attract approximately 150 in-person attendees and 250 virtual attendees – all potential customers for your products and services.
I encourage you to take full advantage of this excellent opportunity to network with your target market as an exhibitor. Exhibiting companies will have the opportunity to share their educational materials and interact with participants.
Due to our limited number of exhibit openings, we hope you will take this opportunity and contact us now to register.
Sponsorships are also available for purchase.
Please feel free to contact amshupak@houstonmethodist.org if you have any questions or need additional information.
Sincerely,
