This symposium is an effort by Collaborative Urology Research team to recognize and encourage research efforts at Houston Methodist Urology and Institutions around the region. This symposium will provide up-to-date research efforts on various urological topics by leaders in the field.

  • The final date for all submissions is 6/1/2024
  • The final date for PGY1 (intern) submissions is 7/15/2024
  • Please notify us if you planning to submit a video abstract for further detail
    • The video/movie should be saved as a MPEG-4 (.mp4) file using Standard Definition resolution format.
      ✓ Please refer to the standard definition compression settings for YouTube or Vimeo for guidelines.
    • The length of the video/movie should be a maximum of 7 minutes.

  • Abstract Title
    (limited to 25 words in UPPER CASE)
  • Abstract Body
    (limited to 400 words or 375 words if an image is included)
    Table(s), Graph(s) or Illustration(s): All tables/graphs/illustrations must be converted to an image. And a maximum of 1 image(s) can be included per abstract. The maximum file size of the image is 1.5 MB. The maximum pixel size of the image is 
    600(w) x 800(h) pixels. You may upload an image in JPG, BMP or PNG format only. For higher quality output we recommend your images be set at 300 dpi and crop out any unnecessary surrounding white space.
  • Abstract Layout
    Abstracts must use the following structured format:

    • Methods/ Materials
    • Results
    • Conclusions
