Learning Objectives

1. Describe stress urinary incontinence, urgency urinary incontinence, and mixed urinary incontinence
2. Identify initial non-surgical therapies to treat urinary incontinence
3. Recognize which patients should be referred to the pelvic floor specialist (urologist/urogynecologist)
4. Select alternative treatment options when non-surgical treatments are ineffective
