1. The learner will discuss the components of Respectful Maternity Care as they relate to nursing practice.
2. The learner will review the potential impact of social determinants on maternity populations.
3. The learner will examine common cultural beliefs and practices impacting maternity care.

By the end of this activity, participants will acquire essential knowledge to deliver respectful and culturally sensitive maternity care, regardless of the patient’s cultural background, thereby contributing to improved patient outcomes.
