Recognizing Human Trafficking

Recognizing Human Trafficking will begin with human trafficking statistics, states of human trafficking including recruitment and grooming, as well as high risk individuals and victims. It will encompass red flags for human trafficking, traffickers, common language, and the healthcare providers role in human trafficking patients.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will self-report an increase in knowledge of the signs and symptoms of human trafficking and what actions to take upon identification of a human trafficking patient, on the post-activity evaluation tool.
