PM Session 1: Building an Evidence Base for Nursing Practice: Exploring the Literature
Target Audience
This intensive is for nurse leaders, including directors, managers, educators, and shared governance leaders.
Learning Objectives
List at least three bibliographic databases.
Identify and utilize keywords for a literature search.
Execute a literature search.
Differentiate between a literature review, scoping review, and systematic review.
Nursing Learning Outcome:
On completion of the activity, registered nurses should report increased confidence in executing a literature research using key words. They should identify new learnings related to literature review, scoping review, and systematic review as reflected in the post activity survey.
