Navigating Research Protections Series - Session 1: Research Credentialing, Administrative Review “ARAF” Institutional Requirements
Kicking off the second year of the Navigating Research Protections Series, is a 90-minute presentation and interactive discussion on research credentialing requirements and best practices when starting clinical research projects. Nisha Gulamali from the Office of Governance and Faculty Affairs will walk through the credentialing process and outline and discuss the requirements for conducting research at Houston Methodist. Ariana Rojas Lopez from the Academic Office of Clinical Trials will provide guidance on the Administrative Review Application Form (ARAF) submission and approval process. Faculty, research staff, administrators and others involved in or interested in conducting clinical research are encouraged to attend.
