Learning Objectives

  1. Comprehension: Learners will be able to explain the goals of music therapy.
  2. Application: Learners will be able to evaluate and identify appropriate music therapy referral reasons.
  3. Awareness: Learners will be able to distinguish between music therapy and other uses of music in the health care field.

Nursing Learning Outcome:

Registered nurses attending this activity will report enhanced knowledge related to the benefits of music therapy. They will identify at least one new learning related to music therapy that they intend to incorporate into personal practice as reflected in the post-activity survey.
