This will be a panel discussion between nurses and physicians as well as interdisciplinary team members about communication and collaboration. Please see nurse planner document for full details including practice gap and evidence to support gap.

Learning Objectives
- Discuss examples you observed of effective communication between nurses and physicians.
- Describe how nurses and doctors exchange information clearly, accurately, and collaboratively especially when engaging in emergent or time-sensitive situations.
- Identify which approaches help keep the dialogue focused on the patient while ensuring everyone’s voice is heard.
- Discuss how one would repair professional relationships after communication breakdown.
