Introduction to Manuscript Preparation 8.12.25
Overview
Writing is a process. Scholarly medical writing requires careful attention to research reporting guidelines, the target audience’s interests, and clear expression of both data and ideas. Join us for this 90-minute introduction to the considerations, techniques, strategies, and resources to help you successfully prepare a publishable manuscript. Led by Jacob M. Kolman, MA, ISMPP CMPP™, and Shaefali Rodgers, PhD, from the Office of Faculty & Research Development, this virtual session covers how to identify key writing standards, select a peer-reviewed journal, and stay organized throughout the drafting and revision process. Faculty, trainees and staff are welcome to attend and to bring questions related to any stage of the writing process for your manuscript ideas.
