This program provides a basic introduction to fetal heart monitoring. The course covers key elements of fetal and maternal assessment, systemic approaches to fetal monitoring, tracing analysis, and interpretation, electronic monitoring instrumentation, along with principles of documentation, communication, and risk management.

Nursing Learning Outcome:
Upon completion of this activity, registered nurses will self-report an increase in knowledge and confidence in relation to fetal monitoring and its application to the perinatal patient as stated in the post-activity tool.
