ForwardHMB Charge Nurse Course: Leading with Confidence - April 8, 2025
The education activity seeks to enhance the knowledge and management skills of the charge nurse. It focuses primarily on skills that enable the coordination of resources required to lead the unit. The course also addresses information about the roles and responsibilities, communication and problem solving, and traits of effective leadership to prepare nurses new to the role to effectively anticipate and meet care needs of patients and staff.

On completion of the activity, registered nurses will report increased knowledge regarding the roles and responsibilities of the charge nurse as indicated by the post-activity survey.
