Learning Objectives
Nursing Learning Outcome:
The learner will have increased knowledge of managing patients with PA catheters, central lines, and arterial lines. They will also increase their knowledge of hemodynamic parameters, troubleshooting lines, and causes of changes in hemodynamic values. This will be measured with pre- and post-test results. The learner will show acquisition of skills with return demonstration of arterial line and PA catheter pressure monitoring set-up, troubleshooting, and management of the patient with abnormal hemodynamic values. This will be achieved with return demonstration of skills and management of a patient during a high-fidelity simulation.
