Learning Objectives

Nursing Learning Outcome:

The learner will have increased knowledge of hemodynamic parameters and managing arterial lines and PA catheters.  They will also gain knowledge in troubleshooting and normal and abnormal hemodynamic values.  This will be measured with pre- and post-test results.  The learner will show acquisition of skills with demonstration of arterial line and PA catheter pressure monitoring set-up, troubleshooting, and management of the patient with abnormal hemodynamic values. This will be achieved with return demonstration of skills and management of a patient during a high-fidelity simulation.
