The 8th Annual Cardiovascular Bioengineering Meeting (CVBE), hosted by the Houston Methodist Hospital and George and Angelina Kostas Research Center for Cardiovascular Nanomedicine brings together the best cardiovascular scientists and bioengineers internationally to exchange ideas on cutting-edge developments in translational cardiovascular biology and engineering. Guest speakers include Victor J. Dzau, MD (President, National Academy of Medicine), Joseph A. Hill, MD, PhD (Editor-in-Chief, Circulation) and Joseph C. Wu, MD, PhD, FAHA (President, American Heart Association) will contribute their perspectives, as well as leading scientists, engineers and clinician-investigators in cardiovascular cell therapy, gene editing, mRNA therapeutics, bioengineering and nanomedicine.
The symposium will be held in person at the Houston Methodist Research Institute (HMRI) from May 22-25 and a component will be held virtually online to provide a wider reach to potential audiences in other countries that may not be able to travel to the US.
