Emerging Leader Program: Leading Change- September 2026

Do you feel fully equipped to navigate times of change? Explore practical strategies for understanding why change can be difficult and develop tools to help support yourself and others during times of change.

In this Emerging Leader Program course, participants will explore what can make change difficult, what people may need to move through change successfully, and how these factors can impact the overall process. By reflecting on practical change strategies, participants will identify ways to support successful change by focusing on bright spots, building momentum, and reinforcing progress.

 

Objectives:

  • Identify how change and uncertainty can influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviors
  • Review what helps individuals move through change successfully and how those factors impact the overall process
  • Establish ways to positively contribute to change and support others through the process
  • Understand how to seek out bright spots and apply practical strategies to build momentum and reinforce progress

Nursing Learning Outcome:

Upon completing this activity, registered nurses will indicate through the post-activity survey an enhanced knowledge of the change reaction, key components of successful change, and strategies to inspire change in themselves and others.
