This session will discuss the informed consent process and effective techniques for explaining research information. Participants will learn how to differentiate between the roles and responsibilities involved in obtaining consent and accurate documentation. The presentation will also review consent requirements to common real‑world scenarios, such as use of interpreters, limited literacy, minors, and legally authorized representatives
