Building Our Bold New Future Through Competency Assessment
Professional development and education have been challenged and stretched. And “tomorrow” will need our creativity and innovation to meet the professional development needs of the next decade. In our post-pandemic world, we need to prepare ourselves and our mindset to boldly go – where no one has gone before. This workshop will provide you with a road map to the Donna Wright Competency Model.
You will learn how to make competency more meaningful and build a bold new future of accountability and professionalism.

Nursing Learning Outcome:
Upon completion of this activity, Registered Nurses will self-report an increase in their knowledge of developing and implementing competencies as indicated by their feedback on the post-activity evaluation tool.
Houston Methodist is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
To be awarded 3.25 continuing professional development hours, the participant must attend the program in its entirety and complete the evaluation tool.
