Nursing Learning Outcome:

At the completion of this activity, the Registered Nurse will be able to identify a change in a patient condition in patients with a cardiac assist device and name at least 1 intervention to do to prevent poor outcomes, as evidenced by self-reported intent to change practice as stated on the post-activity evaluation tool.
