Advanced Management Heart Failure and Cardiogenic Shock for Temporary Mechanical Support - May 2024
This educational program aims to elevate the knowledge base of participants by focusing on two key objectives: (1) enhancing their ability to identify various types of heart failure as defined by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association, and cardiogenic shock as outlined by the Society Angiography and Interventions; and (2) refining their skills in escalating clinical management for patients requiring temporary ventricular mechanical support, guided by the 2022 AHA/ACC/HFSA guidelines for heart failure management.
Moreover, the program endeavors to address the gap in staff proficiency by cultivating mastery skills related to preventive strategies in managing refractory cardiogenic shock and the utilization of circulatory support.
