Greater Houston Area Alzheimer’s Disease Research Symposium - December 5, 2024
An educational and scientific event sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association for Houston-area AD researchers, the Houston Area Alzheimer’s Disease Research Symposium is the perfect opportunity for scientists, clinicians, and trainees to present their work and network with local experts.
Join us on December 5, 2024 at the Houston Methodist Research Institute located in the Texas Medical Center, to hear talks by AD researchers from institutions across the southeast region of Texas. Submit an abstract by October 11 to be considered for a poster presentation during sessions featured in the afternoon.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Up to three posters will be selected to win the Del Papa Distinguished Award in Neurodegeneration Research, which includes a certificate and monetary prize, to be announced at the end of the conference.
Potential new session this year! Please indicate if you would like to be considered for participating in a Data Blitz session during the conference to present a 2-minute highlight of your poster.
Abstracts (1 page) MUST include:
1. Name, title/position, institution, and email address of presenting author
2. Abstract title
3. Author list with presenting author listed first and indicated with an asterisk
4. Institution(s)
5. Abstract body (maximum 350 words)
6. Funding source(s)
7. Indicate if you would like to be considered for a potential Data Blitz session.
Submit your abstracts by October 11, 2024 by emailing them to HoustonADconference@gmail.com
There is no fee to submit an abstract. Presentations will be confirmed by email no later than November 4, 2024.
