Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to: 

  • Describe why race and racism are bioethical issues to which bioethicists and health practitioners should respond.
  • Identify and reflect upon aspects of their profession and professional practices that are influenced by race and racism.
  • Explain the impact of being proactive agents of anti-racist change from within their own professional roles.
