Symposium Overview

The George P. Noon Conference Series: Regulatory Aspects of Transplantation brings together national leaders and transplant professionals to examine the evolving regulatory, policy, and operational landscape of organ transplantation.

This symposium will explore current and emerging changes within the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN), including organ allocation practices, multi-organ transplantation, transplant center performance and outcomes measurement, and the evolving roles of federal agencies and governing organizations. Faculty will also address the challenges facing transplant centers and organ procurement organizations as the national transplant system continues to undergo significant transformation.

Through expert presentations and interactive discussion, participants will gain insight into how regulatory and policy changes may affect transplant programs, organ procurement, patient access, quality oversight, and the future delivery of transplant care.
