Houston Methodist ECMO Simulation Course - April 20-21, 2026
In-Person attendance only. Space is limited.
This high-fidelity simulation course will teach learners the indications and contraindications for Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), how to identify ECMO circuit components and their purpose, as well as ECMO circuit management and troubleshooting.

Target Audience
Physicians, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, ECMO specialists and subspecialty fellows will benefit from this course.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- Discuss Indications and contraindications for ECMO
- Identify circuit components and their purpose
- Describe and troubleshoot ECMO circuit
