Target Audience and Needs

The target audience for this activity is: required specialties are radiation oncology, medical oncology, surgery, radiology, and pathology. Meeting is open to all staff and medical staff members of Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. 


Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

  • Describe the risk factors for, and approaches needed, to decrease the occurrence of cancer
  • Evaluate published data regarding different kinds of cancer
  • Identify new treatments/drugs in the treatment of cancer
  • Determine the best treatment options utilizing multidisciplinary insight, and discussion to better the patient's specific care
