Overview

Advance the education of Nephrology fellows and Medicine residents in accordance with ACGME guidelines; also, provide CME for community health providers.

Target Audience and Needs

There is a need for physicians, residents, and fellows to continually update their knowledge in the treatment of patients with cancer. The American College of Surgeons requires that physicians must participate in continuing medical education activities pertinent to their field of specialty. Educational methods will include lecture, case presentation, and question & answer session.

Accreditation/Credit Designation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Houston Methodist designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
