Overview
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD case conference) is a multidisciplinary conference where complex cases of Chron's and ulcerative colitis are reviewed with input from gastroenterologists, radiologists, and colorectal surgeons.
Target Audience and Needs
The target audience for this activity is: Gastroenterologists, gastroenterology fellows, residents, medical students, colorectal surgeons, radiologists, PA/NPs.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Formulate treatment plans for complex IBD and understand the role of both medical and surgical management.
- Describe CT and MRI enterography studies and apply findings to treatment plans for patients with IBD.
- Describe appropriate biologic therapy for patients with moderate to severe IBD and monitor for efficacy and safety.
