Overview
This activity series serves as an essential function for practicing physicians to learn new surgical techniques and management strategies, review recent medical literature, and discuss difficult or unusual cases.
Target Audience and Needs
The target audience for this activity is: Orthopedic Surgery, Primary Care, Research Institute, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Clinical Support Staff
Educational Objectives
- Analyze medical research studies and apply them to one's own practice.
- Create an accurate diagnosis and appropriate referral for non-orthopedic injuries.
- Manage orthopedic injuries with the latest techniques.
- Identify errors and hazards of care of patients with orthopedic upper extremity injuries.
- Define and discuss complex or unusual orthopedic upper extremity injury cases.
