Overview
This is the only Spine Surgery conference in Houston/TMC. This serves as an essential function for practicing physicians to learn new surgical techniques and management strategies, review recent medical literature and discuss difficult or unusual cases.
Target Audience and Needs
The target audience for this activity is: Orthopedics physicians, fellows, and residents.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Concisely present cases.
- Provide reasonable treatment non-operative and operative treatment alternatives, including a reasonable risk and benefit ratio profile.
- Critically evaluate whether the procedure provided the patient with a spine that is patent, aligned, and anteriorly supported and posteriorly stabled.
