This activity provides learners with an overview of the use of cryoablation in the treatment of breast cancer. The activity covers the principles of cryoablation, patient selection, procedural techniques, safety and efficacy, and potential complications of the procedure. The goal of this activity is to equip learners with the knowledge necessary to incorporate cryoablation into their clinical practice as a treatment option for breast cancer.

Optional Hands-on Workshop

This activity also offers a workshop option that features ultrasound guided needle placement and ultrasound guided cryoablations of lesions.

  • Discuss the procedural techniques, safety and efficacy, and potential complications associated with cryoablation as a treatment option for breast cancer
