Program Overview

Providers from various specialties come together on a monthly basis to review challenging and/or interesting cases as it relates to the spine. Cases are reviewed in order to optimize patient care in terms of workup, preoperative information, surgical planning/technique, and postoperative care. 


Target Audience and Needs

The target audience for this activity is: physicians, nurses, residents/fellows, medical assistants, office administration. 


Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

  • Discuss non-surgical and preoperative management of spine disorders.
  • Describe indications for spine surgery and varying techniques.
  • Discuss postoperative care following major spine surgery.
