Learning Objectives
The learner will develop and maintain proficiency in the following core areas:
- Interpret basic CT and MRI scans for the neurological patient.
- Evaluate abdominal ultrasound and CT.
- Differentiate the various radiological modalities for pulmonary diagnostics.
- Identify appropriate imaging utilized in the cardiovascular patient.
- Discuss radiology safety awareness.
Nursing Learning Outcome:
At least 75% of participants will indicate on the post-evaluation tool that their knowledge has been fairly or greatly increased regarding radiological techniques and modalities for diagnosing and managing a range of medical conditions, with a specific focus on neurological, abdominal, pulmonary, and cardiovascular cases, while prioritizing patient safety through radiology awareness.
