Open Aortic Training Course 2026

Building on Dr. Michael E. Debakey’s commitment to excellence in education, Houston Methodist’s DeBakey CV Education offers globally accessible, comprehensive cardiovascular education, including hands-on training for healthcare professionals at every level.

This is a two-day course in open aortic repair is led by experienced vascular surgeons who guide trainees through operative videos with hands-on exercises using Pontresina aortic models and cadaver specimens.   The course provides practical, expert led training in open aortic surgical techniques to broaden skillset and for educational purposes.

This is a privately held training event and is by invitation only.
