This activity is intended for physicians, nurse practitioners, residents, fellows, pharmacists, researchers and other health care professionals.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Describe why race and racism are bioethical issues to which bioethicists and health practitioners should respond.
- Identify and reflect upon aspects of their profession and professional practices that are influenced by race and racism.
- Explain the impact of being proactive agents of anti-racist change from within their own professional roles.
