SciENcv: Getting Started

This module will introduce learners to SciENcv and why it is important for federal funding applications. The course covers what SciENcv is, what documents can be created in this online resource, who will need SciENcv-created documents to complete their funding applications, and the initial steps of account creation and troubleshooting, including the delegate assignment functions. The course is designed for faculty and staff involved in preparing federal funding applications to several agencies relevant to research at Houston Methodist.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this module, learners will be able to:

  • Identify what SciENcv is
  • Understand how SciENcv is used to address federal funding application requirements
  • Define who will require documents made in SciENcv
  • Create a log-in account
  • Assign delegates or work as delegates for other users
