HMTW Principles of Advanced Cardiovascular Nursing-Progressive/Acute Care- October 9, 2025
The purpose of this course is to orient nurses to the best practices related to the nursing management of the cardiac patient receiving care in medical/surgical, telemetry, and progressive care areas. This class may also serve as a refresher for nurses who currently care for this dynamic patient population.

- Knowledge: 80% of the learners will self-report and increase in knowledge related to the care and management of the surgical and medical cardiac patient in progressive and acute care settings.
- Practice: 80% of the learners will self-report an intent to change practice or that the content validates current practice.
