Target Audience
Physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, residents/fellows and other health care professionals in the cardiology and cardiovascular specialties, internal medicine and family practice.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participant should be able to:
- Discuss the initial evaluation process for suspected heart failure
- Apply latest evidence and diagnostic tools to guide the evaluation and management of heart failure comorbidities
- Recognize the markers of advanced heart failure to facilitate early referral and initiation of guideline directed management
