
Clinician Education Pathway 2 day Intensive Sessions - April 9 & 10, 2026
Clinician Education Pathway Program is designed to enhance participants’ versatility as teachers, enhance their ability to analyze clinical teaching using an educational framework and provide a forum for collegial exchange. In addition, participants will learn principles, guidelines and behavioral alternatives that teachers can use to improve their teaching effectiveness.
Target Audience
HMH Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists, Physical/Occupational Therapists, and self-educators.
Learning Objectives
Two-Days Intensive Workshop
1. Recall the seven domains of clinical teaching excellence.
2. Utilize role play to appreciate how the seven domains of clinical teaching are used effectively in the clinical learning environment.
3. Describe how to apply the seven best practices to educational activities that take place in the clinical learning environment.

Dr. Kevin Y. Pei is the Vice Chair of Academic Affairs and Education Innovation at NYU Langone Health. He completed his medical school training at Chicago Medical School, he also has a Master of Health Science medical Education when to George Washington University for his General Surgery Residency and to University of Hawaii, Honolulu for his Surgical Critical Care Fellowship.
Currently is Associate Chief Academic Research Officer, Section Chief of General Surgery American College of Surgeons Accredited Education Institute Director and Mirror Center for Research and Innovation Medical Director.
