Overview

We plan to host a bi-monthly webinar series with speakers from all over the world that will discuss health & nature evidence-based approaches that improve patient care and quality of life, and discussing the importance of developing holistic, patient-centered models of healing.


Target Audience and Needs

The target audience for this activity is: Physicians, nurses, residents/fellows, pharmacists, researchers, construction & design, etc.


   

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

  • Synthesize the current evidence on how natural environments influence physical and mental health, including biological pathways and health equity implications.
  • Apply practical methods to measure and analyze nature exposure and health outcomes, including geospatial linkage, sensor and wearable data, and EHR integration.
  • Design and communicate an actionable plan for a clinic, community, or policy intervention that leverages nature to improve health, with a feasible evaluation strategy and stakeholder engagement plan.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
